Integrated Motion wasfounded in 1997 by Charles Williams. Realizing that there was not an automation distributor in the Carolinas and Virginia that offered engineering resources to customers that wished to purchase automation products, Integrated Motion was founded on the following principles:

By having technically competent sales professionals provide quality products into the marketplace, backed by a high level engineering staff to provide detailed technical assistance as well as a friendly and efficient customer service group, Integrated Motion has begun to challenge the large service and supply distributors for business in our territory. After surpassing the recession of 2001, Integrated Motion is well positioned for growth for years to come.

Our knowledge of single and multi-axis motion control applications and products has branched into complete machine control with all of the auxiliary components needed to supply our customers with a complete solution for their automation needs. The addition of complete engineered systems capability in June of 2000 has enabled us to offer services to our customers unlike any other distributor.
